Payment and Insurance

Insurance companies determine how healthcare and provider visits can and will be reimbursed. Functional Medicine is complex and an insurance covered visit does not typically allow sufficient time to address the complexities of integrative medicine.

Insurance companies contract for specific rates and many times those rates and out-of-network rates are higher than an out of pocket cost.

Many individuals have high deductibles; essentially paying cash for a visit, which is often higher under an insurance plan. Invoices can be provided if you would like to submit claims to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

I do not participate in private insurance plans, Medicare, or Medicaid. A super bill can be provided if you choose to submit to your insurance company.  You may be able to submit for partial coverage as I would be out of network.  You would not be able to submit for reimbursement under Medicare and this is a Medicare rule.  Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover is accepted.  HSA and flex spending cards are also accepted.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requires a 24-hour notice or you will be responsible for the entire fee. The 24-hour period is counted on business days only ( i.e. a Monday morning appt would require a cancellation by Friday morning.)

Payment is REQUIRED at the time of the visit.

• Initial Consultation: 75-90 minutes = $195

• Initial Follow up visit: 30 minutes = $160

• DNA Analysis: 30 minutes = $80 | 1 hour = $160

• Follow up visit: ~30 minutes = $120-$160 (depending on time)

• Infrared Sauna: 

  • 30 min = $35 (inquire about my $30 with weekly package)
